So Lara came over the other day and dropped her Unoa L-bi, Logan, off so I could experiment with making clothes for him. I haven't really had time to sit down and design anything this week (should after today). She brought him over in a brown fur wig. ..
.. This one to be exact. (Even though it's modeled on her MNF Shiwoo). The wig is fine... in an over-sized, stringy, kind of way. Haha. So I sent her a message as a joke saying something along the lines of "I want to cut this wig and give Logan a faux hawk." And she sent back "Go ahead, I never liked that wig anyways."
I've never cut hair before, so much less a wig -- and I'm especially afraid of wig cutting since the hair can't grow back. But while cutting this one, I realized that it was pretty forgiving and really fun to work with. I had to stop myself from getting carried away and cutting the whole thing off. ..
.. I just trimmed up the sides a considerable amount but I pretty much left all the length on the top the same. I think it looks much more stylish; suave; clean; now. .. And if faux hawks aren't your thing... or Lara gets tired of him looking like a rooster... ..
.. It still looks cute down.

I kind of want an opinion. From both buyers and sellers.
Buyers, do you prefer making your bjd handmade purchases (such as clothing, props, etc) through that seller's personal website, or through a site such as Etsy? Does it make a difference between the two if the seller is using Paypal, on their website, throughout the purchasing process?
Sellers, what are your thoughts on selling through a personal site, Etsy, or even the DoA forum marketplace?
I definitely hit more traffic when I sold through the DoA forum so I was just wondering what people felt more comfortable with.

So, I've opened a twitter for Hook Me Up. I'll probably post most of my clothing designs/updates there instead of here from now on -- since it's a little more mobile friendly in my opinion. Of course, the rest of my dollie wants/needs/dreams will keep going here on lj.
But if you have a twitter account, it'd be awesome if you want to follow @seemealive.
